PCB and PCBA Cleaning Machines That Wash, Rinse and Dry in One Pass
SAMTRONIK builds PCB and PCBA cleaning machines in Shenzhen for two different production habits: boards that have to be cleaned inside the line, and boards, stencils and jigs that arrive at a cleaning station in batches. The in-line models — SME-6300 and SME-6200 — take PCBA up to 600 mm and 500 mm wide from the soldering process through prewash, wash, pre-rinse, rinse, final rinse and hot-air drying in a single pass, with SMEMA handshaking, DI water resistivity monitoring and dosing pumps for chemical and DI water. The SME-5600 does the same job in a batch cabinet for two baskets at a time. Every model uses stainless steel 304 on all wetted pipework, valves and manifolds, with adjustable spray and air-knife pressure and protection from phase loss through to over-temperature — whatever it is called on your floor: an in-line PCBA cleaning machine, a batch PCBA cleaning machine or a misprint PCB clean machine.

Choose the PCBA Cleaning Machine That Fits Your Boards
All three machines clean, rinse and dry. The difference is where the board sits while that happens — on a conveyor moving at line height, or in a basket inside a cabinet.
SME-6300PCBA In-Line Cleaning Machine
The widest in-line model. It carries PCBA up to 600 mm wide from the soldering process through prewash, wash, pre-rinse, rinse, final rinse and hot-air drying without a break in the SMEMA flow. PC + PLC control with Windows operation software, MES connection, quantity counting at the inlet and outlet sensors, automatic chemical and DI water dosing, chemical isolation and adjustable air knives, plus leak detection, level protection and emergency stops.

SME-6200PCBA In-Line Cleaning Machine
The water-economy model. A full SUS304 frame and pipework with a Mitsubishi PLC and bilingual touch panel, holding 20 cleaning recipes that are edited per product and recalled at the touch of a button. A high-pressure vertical pump pushes clean and rinse water up to 120 PSI, and the overflow rinse section pushes fresh DI water from the back forward so a board always meets water that has not already been used. Fault history is stored and readable at the panel.

SME-5600PCBA Cleaning Machine, Batch Cabinet
The batch model. Cleaning, rinsing and drying happen in one compact cabinet with a heated dilution tank, and the whole cycle stays visible through the front window under LED light. Nozzles are split left and right with an upper and lower offset so there is no cleaning blind area, and spray pressure is adjustable so small, light boards are not knocked around by the jet. It takes PCBA as well as stencils, plastic mesh, scrapers and furnace jigs.

Which Machine Fits Which Job

Wide Boards, In Line
600 mm PCBA straight out of the soldering process with prewash and wash sections, PC + PLC control, MES connection and inlet and outlet sensors that count boards and hold them back when a downstream machine is not ready.
Standard Boards, Least Water
500 mm PCBA at up to 120 PSI, with an overflow rinse that replaces used DI water from the back and a light-curtain sensor that stops the machine when no board has arrived for a set time.
Batch Loads and Jigs
One cabinet cleans, rinses and dries two baskets at a time, including stencils, plastic mesh, scrapers and furnace jigs — with the cycle visible through the front window instead of buried inside a tunnel.
Misprints and Rework
Boards pulled out of the line for re-printing, and printed boards that need the paste taken off before a second attempt, run through the same machines — that is the job buyers call a misprint PCB clean machine.
Six Stages, One Pass: What Happens Inside the In-Line Machine
The tunnel is the machine. A board enters at one end and comes out dry at the other, and each stage below is a separate section with its own sensors, pumps and protection.
- PrewashThe board is wet down first with adjustable spray pressure and angle, so flux residue softens instead of being pushed further into the assembly.
- WashHeated chemical wash fed from a concentrated liquid tank with automatic temperature control. Two condensation devices recover evaporated chemical, which is what keeps the running cost down.
- Pre-rinseThe bulk of the chemical is taken off before the rinse stages, so the DI water that follows is not saturated the moment it touches the board.
- RinseDI water rinse with overflow: fresh water enters from the back of the section and pushes used water forward. On the SME-6200 the rinse pump reaches 120 PSI.
- Final rinseThe last rinse is monitored by a resistivity sensor on the DI water supply pipe, so the water quality reaching the board is a measured number rather than an assumption.
- Hot-air dryAdjustable air knives blow the water off with over-temperature protection on the hot-air section, and the board leaves dry enough to go straight into AOI.
